Carter carbs, love them or hate them. The BBD and BBS models were a great income stream for a carby re-builder, as these carbs proved to be a very poor performer as far as service life between rebuilds go. Carter in general were not considered a reliable carby and many owners chose to fit Holly and Weber carb replacements. Carters are predominantly fitted to Chrysler & Ford
